Stories are powerful for those who tell stories and those who hear them. The Stories of Southern Oregon project collects oral histories of heritage work life in Jackson and Josephine counties thanks to funding to Southern Oregon University from the Oregon Heritage Commission and the National Endowment for the Humanities Common Heritage Program. These stories build bridges between the SOU campus and our communities and establish a rich new digital resource for research, teaching and learning.
