This project gave children an opportunity to explore their emotions and body awareness in the setting of a gymnastics gym. Children transitioned from an athletic and performance mindset to incorporating social emotional conversations and self development through the methods instructors introduced. Activities ranged from songs, stretching, and language used by coaches to re-enforce progression of athletes with ages ranging from 18 months to 11 years old.
