Fetal tissue is the tissue from dead human fetuses, particularly tissue from induced abortions. Fetal cells ability to rapidly divide and adapt to new environments, has made a big impact in playing a great role in scientific research. Because of this fetal tissue has been used for vaccine development and helping advance stem cell research in finding treatments for human diseases. Knowing the benefits of fetal tissue, would it be considered ethical to use aborted fetuses for medical research?
