Dulcet A Cappella Performance
Dulcet A Cappella was started at SOU in 2005. Since then, they have grown to include around 17 members from various majors and continue to be the only pop a cappella group on campus. In the last few years, they have competed at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, opened for renowned all-male British a cappella group Semi-Toned, and performed one of their in-house arrangements with SOU's Concert Choir. They have also produced and been involved in benefit performances for local organizations such as the Jackson County Fuel Committee as well as national causes like Puerto Rico hurricane relief, and the Women's March. They continue to make appearances around Ashland and Oregon's Rogue Valley.

Everybody's A Trigger- CANCELED
This performance has been canceled by the presenter.

Everybody's A Trigger" is a working title for my new collection of poems. This focuses on my life growing up in the Rust-Belt of America. I often negotiated the existence of my identities; split between the rich souls of my blackness and the chaos of my lower-class white family. The relevance of my own battles with being a poor biracial, bisexual, diagnosed girl, is manifested through my poetry. I do not isolate my current well-beings but often refer to childhood fables. The absolutes of my words can be thought of as mystic realism and sometimes scary. I mention issues such as race/gender, mental illness, police brutality, classism, sexual freedom and life resilience. This collection came to me in my most vulnerable moments, and I hope to share my experiences and words with others.
